Like I said before, it was a good show...lots to look at. The thing I enjoyed the most was talking and meeting different artists and their respective styles. Lots and lots of heavy hitters. But that was one thing I really wanted to see-is where everyone is coming from with their styles and how hard they're hitting. Again got to meet some hitters that I wasn't expecting, and some that I was expecting to see and reintroduce myself. Kind of suprisingly I was remembered and even did some sketching for people while I was there. I was talking to Sean "cheeks" galloway and we were talking about networking. That kid is ALL over the place but that's what you really gotta do in this business. Its not "Hey I'm good but you're never gonna know cause I don't put it out". You've really gotta put it out there and be known. So there is another reason for coming home early. I was in the business before, and honestly have a hesitation or lack of confidence about getting back in. For anyone who knows me confidence and cockiness play a big part into things I do. I guess its part of what makes me vulnerable. That and the women in my life......course that doesn't mean its easy to get at me either. I keep a damn good eye on letting people get close to me. Anyways here are some pics of some new friends and hopefully ones I'll be working with in the future.
