Lately, I've been working on uping my game to compete with these international artists. To go along with that I have this window opening to try and play over at Marvel comics, I just have to get past a number of artists that want that same chance. The deal is you have 12 hours to put together 6-8 pages of sequential artwork that tells a story. Most people like to throw down pin-ups, and most have been practicing more than I have. I have a good chance if I sit down long enough to practice. I'm choosing between at least 4 different stories to do so we'll see who sees some action. Here's an image from Madureira's Ultimates 3 series. I really like the look of this book, and go through every panel to see how he's evolved with his style.
