There is an artist named Lesaen Thomas who says " If you ain't getting hated on, then you ain't doing shit." This has been true for the last couple of months. My family, myself it just seems that at every turn something is hitting us. So I uped the anty. I left Painted with Oil. It was more of a mutual decision. They had nothing left for me and weren't giving me any real reason to stay. Apparently I was too aggressive and people found it too hard to work around me. The only problem was that those same people could never put numbers in the drawer like I could.
Upon my return from Texas I put out my resume' and was quickly picked up a REAL gallery. Gastov-Gurule'. The a gallery dealing in internationally known artists as well as a handful of up and coming artists. The reason this is called TRUTH AND DARE, is because I will also be on that list of up and coming artists as well as help manning the gallery. Instead of staying in the same pond I will now be going up against up and comers, internationally known, russian, chinese, published, and critically acclaimed artists. Its a new game, people. Not only that I also have "7", yes 7 different galleries again with internationally know and critically acclaimed artists interested, and wanting to see some work from me. I said I'd take it to another level.
These two images were done for the boutique before my leave for Texas. She wanted a very simple, fashionable look. Something clean and really just like a simple model sheet for how the outfit would look. I guess along the lines of how a designers rough sketches would be like. You'll have to excuse the images, this is how they were sent over, and I barely had time to post this so..........I'll fix it later.
