Its Christmas eve and I've been burning the midnight oil. I'm determined to get these pieces out. Thing of it is I'm not using acrylic on any of these, just straight oil paint. My hands are so incredibly dirty its funny. Every time I look in the mirror I've got paint somewhere on my face. Then I'll remember that I just got finished talking to about 10 people and no one said anything. Oh well. :)
Well people got what they wanted for Christmas, lets go down the list.
My parents got to see me along with the rest of my family.
My girls got all there gifts.
My grandparents (as well as my parents) got to see I am doing well and not hurting.
Got my main employee a significant raise and benefits.
Emily the pea got a boyfriend that she really digs on.
My Romanian couple got their portrait done in time for Christmas
Dora got whatever she was looking for apparently, way to go
The kid got the Monet I did for his girlfriend (shown above)
Pin-up girl got done,matted, and framed and was the talk of two shops (in a good way)
It looks like the Dog piece will be done in time for this evening (already had two other people wanting to buy it)
The baby picture will also be done before the evening......
.....and as for me?
Its like the song says, I'll be home for Christmas.......IF ONLY IN MY DREAMS.
