Sorry it s been so long yadda,yadda,yadda. Just kidding. I've been on a non stop painting spree with a couple of hours of seepy time in between. The new news is that Annihilation Jones' preview did come out on Tues. 7-8-08. So for any of you keeping score at the beginning of the year I said I wanted to be published at least twice this year so that #1. The paintings I was going to post I haven't received images yet from the new owners. So I suppose I'll have to post the ones my assistant took to pass the time.
The new work hit last Friday with 4 new images last week. One of those was the result of someone seeing one of the original three and wanting something similar but different. I also have a new sports image I'll be putting out. I think I was almost done when I thought to myself that this wasn't the style I originally wanted to use, but it helps as a template so no love lost. I can say that the image is already sold and that I had a custom piece with four modern/contemporary women that is once again sold as well. HMMM.....I'd say thats a good problem to have. Making the killer once again the baddest man in the whole damn land......with the only one down side.
There are a lot of people digging on the new work so much that I have a hard time for other things. Good thing my girl understands, but I make time. This has more to do with the comics aspect of it all. Its been so busy that I might not even make it to San Diego due to the fact I have other work I want to put out---my European style as well as well we're not gonna say. The tickets being bought already I'm really wondering if I'm even supposed to draw comics anymore or if I found that road to greatness I was looking for. We'll see how things go between then and now.
