This is going to be when of those month's,(maybe years) that is going to be a learning experience. I found out the other day that the place that I call home and work out of might be sold right out from under me with no warning. The details are sketchy but clear enough to know that its real. So on top of that my car got locked up and there are court costs that need to be taken care of before the end of the month. Keep in mind this place was like my fortress of solitude. Its the place where I could sit and think and work and no one would ever find me. So upon learning this information and 20 minutes to think of options, I barreled through my phone calling on people that I have helped and done work for in the past. Calling in favors in particular situations and positions that I need them in. I would say 9 out of 10 people came through with flying colors. Like I said the month would be a learning experience on people and things I should cut loose or not concentrate on right now. When I have more time I'll get back to them, and they better pray I'm in a good mood.
I talked to my buddy Patrick about the moves I was making and the options available to me. "Necessity Breeds Innovation" is what he told me. I didn't quite understand it at the time so I slowed down, sat down and thought about it. Then I looked up the word innovative and this is what I found:
innovative
A adjective
1 innovative, innovational, groundbreaking
being or producing something like nothing done or experienced or created before; "stylistically innovative works"; "innovative members of the artistic community"; "a mind so innovational, so original"
2 advanced, forward-looking, innovative, modern
ahead of the times
Catch all the words people, So original and like nothing they have done or experienced or created before. I look at Pat as not only my friend but my teacher, so for him to say something that has something like that behind it. Its alot to take in but not beyond understanding. So basically what I'm saying is lets see how good of a killer I am. How serious am I as an artist, and how much I can take in and dish out in the next couple of weeks to change the situation I am in. Schools in, and I am done playing with people who are of no use to me. (at least for now, like I said better pray I'm in a good mood.) So since I left you with a quote from Mr. Patrick Mahoney, here is one from me. I hope you like it, cause I'm not gonna let up.
".....and they will know my name by the numbers I have slain."
