Pound for Pound

Hey, hope all is well with everyone. Things have been a little crazy and frustrating lately. I know you guys have seen this pic before but there's a reason behind posting it again. I've realy been getting picked and slapped in the face just a little TOO much. I don't care what company or who I'm dealing with, its not something I like to take too much of. Company wise, the gallery I run has just been getting its ass handed us. We've been getting crappy art, not alot of help or suggestions from my main office, and then they throw a stupid contest in the mix. Normally I'd be tearing it up sales wise but when you don't have any legs to stand on its hard to fight back. What makes it worse is that they send someone in to pretty much blow alot of smoke up my ass and tell me stuff to try and boost my ego. Something along the lines of you're the best sales guy and crap like that. If I'm REALLY pissed and you can read it on my face do you WANT to cross that line. My only response to anything that was said was broken down with "What's that got to do with me and my money." I'll give you that sounds a little shallow and that I don't paint for "love" just for money, but hey this is a business. I'm playing for more than myself here. Needless to say they backed down just a little to save themselves a few bite marks.

This week I'll be doing alot in the way of knocking some teeth in. Alot of pieces are going into the office and will be distributed and sorted out to the other seven locations in the states. Comic wise I've got something for you guys at the end of the week. With everything that's going on gallery wise its leaving me to really think about my future with this company. The initial goals have been met, now its time to lay the new ones in, Get about 15-20 hot selling paintings and pull out. This still requires thought but that's the way its leaning. That means Albert has to paint and draw. On that note I'm going home now, working on some drawings, prepping some canvas, and waiting for my chicken. So here's to kicking some teeth in and making your own lane instead of staying in everyone else's. CHEERS!!!
