Thank you alot for speedy feedback from just about all,BUT I'm not going to speak on that today. I walked through a couple of galleries to see where my new gallery was lacking in some areas--and there were some areas that needed improvement. We've got all the tools they are just not being used. Being that I'm new to this gallery I can appreciate the "one man show" effort being made by the owners to try and carry things out,but there is a time when one needs help. That is what my position in the gallery is....the new blood. That fresh look to bring the gallery to the next level. That being said I got a special gift yesterday--a new computer with all the programs I would need or want to get it all fired up. Along with that it is draft season so I drafted a new artist to help get the galleries art to another level. Patrick Mahoney will be joining myself as some of the new artists for Gasov-Gurule' International Fine Art Gallery. PLUS I've also gotten one of the artists to change the direction of her art based on some work she thought wasn't her best. Turns out it is one of the strongest pieces she has and the direction of the work is where she needs to be going. She was really looking for her style as an artist so a helpful nudge is what she needed to bring that into a different light. So business is business......oh yeah and I've chosen a new opponent to really bring my work to another level. He's good, and it will definitely take some work to beat him. Matter of fact, I saw some of his new work and lets just say he made my jaw drop and felt a little intimidated. HAHA No worries. Its far from the last round, and the first hasn't even started yet. Above is one of Patrick's pieces that way you can get an idea of what's new here.
