So, beginning with a new, very crazy week. I've got at least two meetings already planned for today, maybe three---better check the planner, and the rest of the week will be just as filled. First couple of meetings today are about my Empire Art paintings. I plan on putting together a show to celebrate my new cigar line. The next meeting is to approve the cigar rings, and of course taste a couple while I'm there, and somewhere in-between that finalize a date and location for this show. Lots of running around.
Meetings after that have to do with the shop, and what we're gonna do to try and bring this thing back to life. I did just get a phone call from a fairy godmother wanting to talk about finalizing paperwork and tidbits about doing some books. We'll see how that goes. I do know she had liked the ideas that were pitched to her. Like I said we'll see. All that being said I've still got alot of painting to do. Gentlemen right and lefts, new images, and custom works. Here is a piece that went really well, I enjoyed doing it---but the concept did fight me a little bit. Paintings definitely like dancing---you gotta fight with your partner (*canvas), but when they're ready to come out its worth it.
